So I’ve been messing around with Hassaku Anima on Civitai lately, it’s got that bright, kinda 2.5D anime vibe. The creator says you gotta use ComfyUI or Forge Neo, steps 20 to 50, CFG 3 to 6, and they personally recommend 25 steps with CFG 3.5, sampler er-sde.
A few tag tips: artist tags need an @ in front, all lowercase, spaces between words—no underscores. Positive prompt should have masterpiece, best quality, score_7, negative goes worst quality, low quality, score_1 to 3 plus blurry and stuff. Also, if Danbooru and Gelbooru spell a tag differently, go with the Gelbooru version.
For resolution, they listed a bunch, but 832x1216 is their top pick. I tried it for vertical shots of characters and yeah, that ratio just looks right. Newbies following these settings should be good—no messing up.
Yeah, the SDE sampler definitely gives more detail than Euler, but it’s a tier slower. For drafts I still stick with Euler, only switch when I’m finalizing.
I’ve run into the same issue with horizontal images messing up too. After that, I just switched to vertical compositions exclusively to save myself the gacha-style re-rolling.
Yeah, sde does give a bit more detail than euler, especially with hair strands and fabric textures, but it’s painfully slow. I stick with euler for rough drafts and only switch for the final version.
832x1216 vertical images are pretty stable, but horizontal compositions tend to mess up easily. Eventually, I just went all vertical to avoid the hassle of re-rolling gacha-style.
