Tortured by character consistency for way too long, so I just built my own workflow

Open-sourced the character consistency workflow, plus a custom node made specifically for locking character features. This is the thing you need most for sequential storyboards and picture books — if consistency doesn’t hold up, everything after that is wasted.

The idea isn’t complicated, break it down and it’s three steps:

  1. Lock down the character’s key features first.
  2. Feed those locked features into the subsequent sampling, so every generation starts from the same set of features.
  3. After that, swap backgrounds and poses freely, and the face basically stays put.

I used to have the same person drift out of shape the moment you changed the angle or the scene — this whole thing got built because of that exact pain point.

Also recorded a walkthrough covering a few easy-to-miss points, worth watching before you run it. It’s out there now, grab it if you need it, feedback welcome.
