The most annoying thing about taking on brand visual projects: AI-generated images always fall just short.

Anyone who’s worked on campaign visuals knows the drill: client hands you a brand guideline with specific color schemes, lighting, and mood. You run it through MJ, and nine times out of ten the results are “close but not quite.” You end up tweaking prompts and re-rolling over and over just to get one image that passes review—boom, an entire afternoon gone, budget and man-hours all burned on that.

Lately I’ve been trying out that style-locking feature in V7, where you lock a set of parameters and generate in bulk. It finally keeps the vibe consistent across a series, so I don’t have to start from scratch for every single image.

Of course, it’s not a cure-all—when you need nuanced emotional expression, you still have to manually step in. Any fellow artists here wanna share your own low-tech tricks for maintaining brand consistency?

The client’s revision requests are the real bottleneck for the model.

I’ve been using that style-locking method too, and yeah, the outputs are definitely more consistent.

Honestly, AI just can’t nail that emotional tone thing.

Gacha-ing so many times I’m starting to question my existence, way too real.

In the end we added a unified color grading pass as a safety net.

Brand colors keep coming out wrong, even when I give them a color card it’s useless.

Totally agree that even if the client gives you a brand color card, it’s useless—models don’t give a damn about hex codes. In the end, we had to do a unified LUT pass in post-production just to barely keep things consistent.
