Light Party, this Illustrious-based checkpoint—the description actually sounds legit, all about that bright illustration style, good for high-saturation characters and clean rendering. But then you scroll down, and the sampler, steps, CFG, resolution fields are all empty, and the example prompt section just says “to be added.”
The author even asks people in the post to share their results and help gauge performance, but won’t even give starting parameters, basically making everyone trial-and-error from scratch on their own. My own experience with Illustrious models is that starting with Euler a at around 20-something steps and CFG around 5 usually isn’t too far off, and if you want cleaner convergence, switch to DPM++.
For stacking style LoRAs, try each one from 0.8 downward; if you’re using two together, drop them to around 0.5 each, otherwise they’ll fight each other and neither flavor comes through.
That’s spot on. If they don’t include the parameters with the sample images, I basically just treat them as wallpapers—not really something I can reference.
