There are tons of Nano Banana tutorials online, but they’re all in English with English prompts—Chinese content is basically nonexistent. I spent two days specifically testing how it responds to Chinese prompts: writing directly in Chinese, the model actually understands scene, mood, and composition pretty well.
For some native concepts (like guochao, ink wash, street life vibes), it even nails them better than translating into English. But when it comes to precise camera language, lighting ratio control, and other technical terms, Chinese prompts are still less stable—the same word can give different results today vs tomorrow.
My compromise is to use Chinese for the subject and atmosphere, English for technical parameters. Mixing them actually works more consistently than pure Chinese.
