Nano Banana Pro's being hyped up as "redefining image generation standards" — I'm not so sure about that.

Nano Banana Pro is getting hyped up again as “redefining the standards of AI image generation.” Honestly, I’m kinda tired of seeing all these “redefining” and “game-changing” buzzwords everywhere lately.

From a branding perspective, my criteria for an image gen tool is pretty straightforward: can it consistently pump out usable commercial assets, can it lock in a style, and when I need a revision, does the whole face change? No matter how much the marketing shills hype it up, when it comes down to actual projects, there are only three questions—how controllable is it, how stable is it, and is the copyright clean? If it fails on any of these, I don’t care how high it scores on benchmarks, I’m not risking putting it in a client proposal.

So I’m just taking this claim as info for now, holding off on any conclusions. Anyone here actually used it for banners or brand visuals? Would love to hear some real-world experiences, skip the marketing fluff.

“Redefining” — I swear I see this word eight hundred times a year.

When it comes to commercial use, controllability and stability are what really matter. All that benchmark stuff is secondary.

Yeah, the whole “clean copyright” thing is getting way more important these days.
