Saw IlluStrike on Civitai — it’s not a single model, the dev says it’s a whole model family, each member will be strong in its own niche.
First one they dropped is a general-purpose version, basically mashing together the best bits from a bunch of other models into one merged model. They’ve got at least three planned: first is this merged one, second is focused on dynamic art, third is called EVE — Emergent Visual Engine, sounds pretty badass but no clue what it actually is until it drops.
Not much on specs: supports 1200x600, 600x1200 and higher resolutions; sampler and scheduler support almost the whole 1111 lineup except KL optimal and a few specific combos; minimum 20 steps.
Personally I’m kinda skeptical about this “draw up a family blueprint then release one by one” approach. Merged models usually end up decent at everything but not great at anything — the real test will probably be that dynamic art version later. Anyone already tried the first model? How’s the general-purpose one actually perform?
