Flux Art has added full e-commerce product photo sets, basically moving from generating a single image to a whole editable, scalable output. That approach feels more grounded than just chasing better image quality. For one SKU in our store we need a main shot, scene shots, detail shots, and a white-background shot - the biggest problem with AI before wasn’t that it couldn’t draw well, it’s that the shots didn’t match each other, the same mug from a different angle would turn into a different product. It emphasizes a multi-model production pipeline, meaning different stages get handed off to different models, and you can still go back and edit at the editing step. If it can actually lock down consistency across a whole set, the designer’s job shifts from drawing images to picking and touching up images. Saying it scales is one thing, whether it can actually hold up across hundreds of SKUs is something you’d only know after running it yourself.

For white-background shots a cutout tool is honestly enough, the scene shots have always been the hardest part of the set
The boss’s first reaction to a feature like this is probably ‘now we can hire one less person’
Scaling only works if it’s stable, if it’s not stable then more volume just means more rework
