A moody still-life of an apothecary-style glass vial, unstoppered, resting on a dark slate table. Around it: a sprig of damp vetiver root with soil still clinging to the fibres, a cracked stick of sandalwood split along the grain, and a single bruised bergamot zest curling at one edge. A thin trail of essential oil runs across the wet stone and catches the light. Low-key earthy lighting from one soft window source at the left, deep falloff into shadow, warm amber highlights against cool grey stone. 85mm perspective, shallow depth of field, focus on the shoulder of the vial. Gritty yet elegant: wet botanical texture, fibrous root, powdery wood grain, the smoky density of the dark glass. Muted earth palette, editorial fragrance photography.
